Initial Comment:
Hello, I am attempting to package Mumble for inclusion in the upcoming
Ubuntu release (Gutsy Gibbon -- out sometime in October).
However, Ubuntu (and Debian which would also benefit from this packaging)
follow strict packaging rules, one of which being the debian/ directory
cannot be found in the upstream tarball.
i am posting this bug in hopes that a new tarball can be released which does
not contain the debain/ directory.
I look forward to working with you further to help supply this application
to the Ubuntu and Debian based communities.
Thanks,
Justin M. Wray

Does this bug include both the Mumble client and the Murmur server (maybe
worth one more ITP, as they have separated source tarballs?) available from
the same Sourceforge-hosted project?
Thanks,

Hello,
yes it includes the murmur server, too. This package part is called
mumble-server in the finished version. We're working hard on it (now
with the upstream, too, who will be a co-maint) so that it will be
finished in the next time I think.
And yes, the murmur server is in the same source package like the mumble
client.
