Hi Jose and David,

one month passed since you filed your ITPs, and David has a package
ready for upload. Jose, I would like to know wether you are OK for
David's package to be uploaded. I am sure that he would agree to
co-maintain the package with you if you wanted.

Have a nice day,

Hey, I sent my package to my sponsor after David contacted me but I
don't know why he hasn't upload it yet. You can find it at
http://debian.ghostbar.ath.cx/libsvg-perl/

Regards,
Jose Luis.

Hi,

maybe you can ask for another sponsor, then ? If nobody answers on
-mentors or -perl, somebody from Debian-Med can upload the package next
week.

By the way, I just had a look at it, and saw you put it at priority:
extra. This would force packages which depend on it to become extra as
well. Is there any good reason for this ? If not, I would be happy if
libsvg-perl would be optional instead, as I would like to keep bioperl
optional.

(Also, I am not sure if you need to build-depend-indep on Perl...)

Have a nice day !

If the version number is bigger - yes. I am not sure whether it is
required for the Maintainer: field to be the same. I guess not.

David, Jose, since it appears you both are interested in maintaining
that package, I very much hope that you end up co-maintaining it :)

Please do not take my upload as an act of preference of one's package
over the other's. It was Charles' polite asking that make me consider it
for upload.

It's ok, I cannot force my sponsor and the package is really needed
right now.

I would be glad to co-maintain it but is a really small package so it's ok.

Regards,
Jose Luis.
