Package: libapache-mod-auth-useragent
Severity: serious
Version: 1.0-9
Hi there!
Due to the recent removal of apache (including it's accompanied
packages of apache-common, apache-dbg, apache-dev, apache-doc,
apache-perl and apache-ssl) and libapache-mod-perl your package most
propably isn't able to get installed or built anymore. These are the
problems your package currently has:
libapache-mod-auth-useragent (dependency): apache-common
Please either send the ftp team a removal request for your package if
it isn't able to work with apache2, or update it to build (only)
packages for apache2.
Thanks in advance,

Message #12 received at 429102@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
This package should be removed from the archive.
It depends on apache, which is no longer in the archives.
This module have never been updated to be used with apache2, and is
therefore useless.
I've looked at the cvs version of the package; no apache2 support in
there.
For apache2 mod_auth_useragent2 exists, which can be found here:
http://modules.apache.org/search?id=817
Pacakge is being removed in Ubuntu per the above request.

Hi,
After discussing it with Rhonda, I decided to request the removal of the
above packages. In all cases:
- the maintainer never answered the bug log
- Andreas Wenning provided positive feedback.
I don't think I missed any ; Andreas, could you double-check, maybe?

Message #28 received at 429102-close@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:
libapache-mod-auth-useragent | 1.0-9 | source, alpha, amd64, arm, hppa, i386, ia64, m68k, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive (ftp-master.debian.org) and will not propagate to any
mirrors (ftp.debian.org included) until the next cron.daily run at the
earliest.
Packages are never removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems.
Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically
removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and
close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package
was superseded by another one.
Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 429102@bugs.debian.org.
This message was generated automatically; if you believe that there is
a problem with it please contact the archive administrators by mailing
ftpmaster@debian.org.
