I haven't had neither time nor interest in finishing to package the Zend Framework.
Anyone interested in the package please keep reading.

Original packaging can be found at:

Issues that need to be fixed:
* non-free files in the test suite
* handling of the documentation
* put all things together
* something else?

Aleksey, feel free to take over this bug. Oh, and about making it a package builder it is _not_ necessary.

FYI, I just noticed that it has been packaged for ubuntu apparently : https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zend-framework

Great.

Btw, have you noticed my other message stating that a more recent
version was packaged (MOTU) for Ubuntu ?

I think it may be best to synchronize with the current ubuntu
maintainer. I tested the package after recompiling on my Debian lenny,
and seems pretty good.

For some reasons, I would like to see the Zend Framework included in Debian.
In fact, I am interested in packaging another software depending on it.
There is already an ITP concerning this package but it seems the original
packager in Debian (Raphael) has no interest in finishing the package (see
above).

You have uploaded a newer version (already outdated) on mentors.debian.net.
Did you receive any feedback in your request for a sponsor ? Please let me
know if I can help you (I can not upload your package since I am not a DD).

Stephan,
You are currently maintaining the lastest version of Zend Framework in the
Ubuntu Universe repository. The best thing to do is uploading your package
in Debian too. Please take a look on this page [4] : ".... when his package
will be uploaded to Debian: should Ubuntu sync it or use your package ? (To
prevent unnecessary divergence, it will probably be synced, overriding your
work)".
Are you interested in doing this work ? To do that, you only need to update
this ITP, upload your sources on mentors.debian.net, then request for a
sponsor (RFS) on the following mailing-list: <debian-mentors(_at_)
lists.debian.org>.


If your are not interested by this task, I can do this work for you. Just
let me know.

Sorry, but the mail you send, somehow I didn't get it...anyways, better
late then never ;)

If you are ok with the package at this stage, I'm fine with taking
over this ITP and doing the work on debian.

JFYI, there are some pitfalls I would like to work around:

Shipped DOJO Framework
   This I'm packging for Ubuntu as well, so I'll have to do some reorg
   of the source packages of Zend-Framework as well.
   If you know someone who is working on dojo packaging in debian,
   please point them to me :)
