 When building im-sdk on a system which does not have libiiimcf.so.3
 installed, the file
 /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/immodule-files.d/iiimf-client-gtk.immodules
 will contain:
# automatically generated by dh_gtkmodules, do not edit
Cannot load module /home/lool/im-sdk/im-sdk-12.3.91/debian/iiimf-client-gtk/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/immodules/im-iiim.so: libiiimcf.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/home/lool/im-sdk/im-sdk-12.3.91/debian/iiimf-client-gtk/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/immodules/im-iiim.so does not export GTK+ IM module API: libiiimcf.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

 Which obviously wont work.

 Please set LD_LIBRARY_PATH when calling dh_gtkmodules.

This is strange, when I checked the packages I built with pbuilder
this did not happen. Also, arguably this is a bug with dh_gtkmodules
itself - shouldn't it fail when this happens?

 Yes; it's likely a bug in dh_gtkmodules (or perhaps in
 gtk-query-immodules-2.0) which should fail; but you still need to set
 LD_LIBRARY_PATH in im-sdk.  I'm surprized you didn't get the bug in
 pbuilder; did you check the resulting immodule.d file?
