With current daily builds of D-I, slang seems to miscount the number of 
characters to use to write the Chinese (and Japanese/Korean) texts, and 
so they extend past the scroll bar, and cause various minor display 
corruptions. See attached screenshot.

This is probably a similar issue to #316010.

I have downloaded last upstream version (2.1.1) to see if the code had
changed since 2.0.4 for which the patch given is #316010 was made.

As far as I have seen and understood (but that was really a quick
review), the patch still applies and is still needed to get proper CJK
support.  I have not made further tests, though.
