If you want to upgrade to this new version, you have to delete the liferea-xulrunner that is currently in sid (new version of liferea-xulrunner is not in sid yet).

There is no new liferea-xulrunner, we have removed the plugin packages
since there's only one, now. However, upgrading to this new version
*should* remove the old plugin automatically. Could you please send
the upgrade log to try to see what happened?

After some testing, I've determined that apt-get stubbornly refuses to
update liferea if it can't update liferea-xulrunner (which it can't,
it no longer existing). Adding a versioned conflict only causes apt to
remove liferea and keep -xulrunner.
Thus, I'll re-add -xulrunner as a dummy package for upgrades. It
will have to remain in the archive until Lenny is released.

Description:
liferea - feed aggregator for GNOME
liferea-xulrunner - transitional dummy package
Closes: 423839 425472
Changes:
liferea (1.2.15b-1) unstable; urgency=low
.
* New upstream release.
- Better update result processing timer, should cause
less CPU usage. (Closes: #423839)
* Remove libgtkhtml2-dev from Build-deps. It has not actually been
needed since the removal of the gtkhtml rendering plugin.
* Reintroduce -xulrunner as a dummy update package. Apt won't upgrade
liferea from 1.0.27-2 without it. (Closes: #425472)
