Citadel offers Versatile email services with verry low administration needed. It provides its own implementations of these server protocols:
Imap, Pop3, SMTP, ManageSieve, Citadel

The actual source stage can be found at
deb-src http://debian.citadel.org/source stable source 
or precompiled i386 packages at for example
deb http://debian.citadel.org/debian/ sid main

The citadel community lives at the "root" installation, https://uncensored.citadel.org. Feel free to log in and explore a reallife citadel.
