Hi,

more info in japanese isn't all that helpful for non-japanese-speaking
people :)
could you summarise the problem with this font?

Thanks,
Julien

expected glyphs are in http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U30A0.pdf
but KATAKANA LETTERs (BA,PA,HI,BI) of Clean font look like small arrows
and vertical borders in gucharmap.

regards,

Indeed, these glyphs look wrong (confirmed using fontforge).

tag 423315 + patch
thanks

Hi maintainers,

I have created a patch to remove 4 strange katakana glyphs mentioned
in the report. Could you please check and apply this patch?

This bug is annoying for Japanese users because Clean font is used in
some web pages (e.g. http://diamond.jp/series/analysis/10003/?page=2
), which results in users accidentally encountering these strange
glyphs in exploring the Internet. It would be happy for us to see
this bug fixed in lenny.

Many thanks,

-nori
