minicom: ../iconv/loop.c:425: internal_utf8_loop_single: Assertion
`inptr - bytebuf > (state->__count & 7)' failed.

Thanks for the report. This one is known but doesn't seem easily
fixable. Ideas?

critical from my point of view; I just thought it best to report it
