Subject: confused by empty divs

[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: markdown
Version: 1.0.1-6
Severity: normal

Markdown seems to get confused by a div that does not contain any text,
and proceeds to treat everything until the next div as inlined html that is
thus not marked down.

joey@kodama:~>cat foo
**bold**

<div class="toc"></div>

**not bold**

<div class="inlinepage">
foo
</div>

joey@kodama:~>markdown foo
<p><strong>bold</strong></p>

<div class="toc"></div>

**not bold**

<div class="inlinepage">
foo
</div>

The problem can be worked around by changing the first div. Either of these
will work:

<div class="toc">
</div>

<div class="toc">foo</div>

This won't, though:

<div class="toc">    </div>

This is fixed by the markdown in experimental. Is it time for that
markdown to move to unstable? Only problem I know of is it's somewhat
slower due to its more careful parsing..
