Download one of the mp3s from
http://www.longnow.org/projects/seminars/ -- I downloaded the Philip
Tetlock one -- and put it in your library and have quodlibet refresh.
Here's mp3info on the file I tried:
joey@dodo:~/lib/sound/podcasts>mp3info salt-020070126-tetlock-web.mp3
File: salt-020070126-tetlock-web.mp3
Title: Philip Tetlock Track:
Artist: Philip Tetlock
Album: SALT - Seminars About Long Ter Year: 2007
Comment: www.longnow.org Genre: Speech [101]
Now go to the Album List view in quodlibet, and search for the album, by
searching for "salt". The attached screenshot is the result here. Note
that "All albums" appears twice; the first one is normally there, but the
second should be titled "SALT - Seminars About Long Term Thinking".
In the screenshot, I've also double-clicked on the track, you can see it
marked as playing, and I can hear it playing -- yet quodlibet displays as if
an entirely different track from an unrelated album is playing. (Notice that
it's 40 minutes into the track, which displays as being 4 minutes long..)
I've also included a second screenshot, in which I matched the SALT album by
searching for "think", which also matches another album. And the Long Now
album here masqerades as the album above it.
I've reproduced this on two machines..

Bug#411210.

Message #13 received at 411210-submitter@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Hey Joey,
I'm de-crufting the quodlibet bugs list in Debian. This bug
is pretty old, and from the fact that someone links to a
patch for the problem, it seems quite possible that it could
be fixed by now.
I tried playing the Tetlock Long Now seminar with QuodLibet
and it played fine, but I'm not at all sure that it's even
the same file anymore. This file is untagged, which is
different than you mention in your report.
Can you reproduce the problem anymore? If not, I think I'm
going to assume it's been fixed and close the bug.
cheers,
Christine

Hi,
since we can no longer reproduce this bug and it seemed to affect an old
version of the package, this bug will now be closed. If you still
experience it, feel free to reopen it with additional information.
