Package: alpine
Version: 0.81+dfsg-1
Severity: important

Our automated buildd log filter[1] detected a problem that will cause
your package to segfault on architectures where the size of a pointer
is greater than the size of an integer, such as ia64 and amd64.

This is often due to a missing function prototype definition.

Dan, I ran the code at [1] against a build log of Alpine upstream 0.82
<ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/alpine/alpine-0.82.tar.gz>. Can you verify
for me that if the Python code in question gives no output, then I can
close this bug?

Thanks!

A:	Well, they like it with two lumps of sugar. If they drink

These warnings are gone in the latest Alpine (0.83), so I'm closing this
bug. If there are different 64-bit problems, let me know.

If the same problem persists and I'm dumb for closing this, please reply
to this bug.

Thanks for filing it! I think that this entry in the Debian bug tracker
may be the reason upstream fixed it. (-:
