Your message did not contain a Subject field. They are recommended and
useful because the title of a Bug is determined using this field.
Please remember to include a Subject field in your messages in future.
The cause of the segfault was that some .desktop file were corrupted;
reinstalled the packages and now all is ok.
The program should not segfault in first place ;-) however it would be helful
to print to screen the file it is working on (with tve -v flag, maybe) and
that causes problems: to find out this, I had to recompile with debug support
and then run in gdb...
