Message #5 received at submit@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Package: libgphoto2-2
Version: 2.2.1-9
Severity: important
Today I've upgraded to the last digiKam (Debian Sid)
digikam 0.9.0~beta3-2
digikamimageplugins 0.9.0~beta3-2
And camera doesn't works:
- Doesn't detect camera
- Camera list is empty
- Camera list is empty in Control Center too ($ kcmshell kamera)
I wrote to digiKam-users list, and the main digiKam developer (Caulier Gille) show this bug
report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125696
In fact, digiKam and 'kcmshell kamera' command works again after ligphoto2-2-dev
install. Maybe libgphoto2-2 need some files from -dev package or aadditional dependence?
Thanks!

Thanks for your report; the problem is digikam tries to access some
ligphoto2 .la file and those are shipped in libghoto2 -dev package
(as they should).
Unfortunately I didn't have the time to look into this issue properly.
