Accept-Ranges: bytes
Content-Length: 53596
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Encoding: gzip
Unfortunately, w3m dowloads 204012 bytes instead of the 53596. Using
lftp or links or wget instead works fine.

Could be, but note how it's downloading 4x the filesize for me,
whereas if it stored the file with Content-Encoding, I'd expect it
smaller.

Yes, just like I do: see my comment on the bug, I'm getting the gunziped
result, not the proper original .gz file.

Woops, misread. You're right, though I cannot verify/reproduce right
