it would be nice if the first line of "apt-cache show <pkg>" output 
would indicate the server url that this package is 
located at.  i believe this will give users to be more confident about 
where the packages they are installing come from.  providing the release 
code name would also be useful.  thank you for your consideration.

How about apt-cache policy <pkg>? apt-cache show <pkg> lists all
versions for that package without saying what would get/is
installed. Policy gives that information as well as the server.
