Subject: w3m --no-left-frame-with-directory-tree-panel
Date: Tue, 06 Jun 2006 05:13:50 +0800
Package: w3m
Version: 0.5.1-4
Severity: wishlist

I can't find the option to make w3m not make a left frame with the
directory tree, upon e.g.,
$ w3m /proc/self
I want it to act like
$ lynx /proc/self

Otherwise when browsing giant trees it is terrible.

When you are browsing a directory (like with 'w3m /proc/self') go to the
head of the page, choose Type: Standard and the press Update. It will
save the setting so that you don't have to change it everytime.

retitle 370581 cannot ESC out of chooser box
thanks
OK, I notice however when one has a chooser box activated,
Directory list of /
                            +--------+
                            |Tree    |  Format     Sort
                            |Standard| [Standard] [By Name] [Update]
----------------------------+--------+------------------------------
one must make a choice, and cannot just hit ESC to leave the chooser
box like in other browsers.

Changed Bug title. Request was from Dan Jacobson <jidanni@jidanni.org> to control@bugs.debian.org. (full text, mbox, link).
