Package: amule-daemon
Version: 2.1.1-3
Severity: important
After the last upgrade I'm unable to connect to amuled using amulecmd
and amuleweb.
amuled appears to be listening on the expected socket, but connections
to that socket first fail with EINPROGRESS (which I assume is expected)
and then are shutdown after failing to receive anything (don't know
why). Both clients exit complaining about being unable to connect.
Attached you can find:
- my ~/.aMule/amule.conf (with mangled password)
- an strace of an attempt to run amuleweb
Here is netstat showing that amuled is properly listening on the given
port and address:
dalamar:~# netstat -tanep | grep amuled | head -2
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4712 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1002 14807 5811/amuled
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4662 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1002 14809 5811/amuled
Cheers.

Hello,
these bugs are long-standing and received no reply after a ping
following 2.2.6 upload, hence I'm closing them now: please reopen if
some of them still apply.
