Have inquired of upstream about obtaining a newer snapshot of the HwB
site (now at http://www.hardwarebook.info) that could be packaged
for Debian. Awaiting response.

Hi again,
if upstream is missing, shouldn't we rather remove the whole package?
Outdated hardware documentation isn't really useful...

Note that an updated package closing the bug has been available
at http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/non-free/h/hwb since last
year. It's been looked at but I received no feedback about it to my
email or to me on the mentors email list. I've thought of some minor
updates to the package but plan to post to the mentors email list
about it again first.
> if upstream is missing, shouldn't we rather remove the whole package?
It isn't so much that upsteam is "missing", since the site is
still there, as they do not seem to be automatically providing a
current archive of the contents of the site.
> Outdated hardware documentation isn't really useful...
What is in the package isn't outdated, it just doesn't have as
much information as the current site does.
