Hi, I have quite a large archive of articles, and something
breaks on 2GB - 1 file limit, not sure whether it's gdbm
or noffle's fault.

It's gdbm, I'm afraid. I have run into the same situation in the past. There's nothing I can do about it short of re-engineering Noffle to use a different back end that's less limited(*).

I'm afraid the only thing I can suggest is to shorten some expiration times :-(

(*) I've been looking with interest at sqlite recently. Real Life, however, doesn't leave me much spare time these days.
