Subject: cp behaviour change

Package: coreutils
Severity: normal

With the 5.93 update the cp behaviour has change:

mkdir -p source/folder
mkdir destination
cp -a source/folder destination/folder/

This works with the 5.2.1 package but with the new 5.93 one:
"cp: target `destination/folder/' is not a directory: No such file or
directory"

This behaviour change bugs the GTK build by example

Looks like a bug in 5.2.1. That should be
cp -a source/folder destination/folder
