Hi,
There is no man pages, and very little documentation for grub2 commands:
grub-setup, grub-emu, grub-mkimage. Among others, how to build a
core.img.
Thanks,
Yann

Hi!
Diverging from upstream to add manpages in grub2 means more work in maintaining
these manpages (specialy since grub2 is experimental software with rapidly
changing interfaces), and we don't have the resources for that.
Please take this to upstream. If upstream is willing to include (and hence
maintain) a manpage you write, then it's no problem for us.
