   * New maintainer.
   * Completely revamp build system; now based on debhelper & dpatch,
     introduce necessary build dependencies.
   * Bump Standards Version to 3.7.2.
   * Clean up copyright file.
   * Drop preinst, included hack was for a version older than stable.
   * Drop the dependency on base-passwd and the conflict with suidmanager
     for the same reason.
