man page of dstat, says the --csv option can be provided to output
information in CSV format. That is not true and --output followed by the
file name has to be provided instead.

  APT policy: (500, 'unstable')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Shell:  /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-k7
Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968)

Versions of packages dstat depends on:
ii  python                        2.3.5-2    An interactive high-level object-o

dstat recommends no packages.

Already fixed in 0.6.0, together with 2 other open issues.

Hmm, I seem to have missed that a new version was out. Which other 2 open
issues does 0.6.0 resolve?

According to subversion it has been changed since quite a while:

At least before the 0.6.3 release.
