Package: amule
Version: 1.2.6+rc8-4
Severity: wishlist
aMule minimizes to tray when the window is minimized, while all the KDE apps
that I use (kopete, amarok) do so when the window is closed. In order to be
consisten, aMule's behaviour should be modified to match the behavior of those
applications.

I am sorry but I don't agree with this. For me, close button is for
closing, and minimize button is for minimizing.
Making the default behaviour for a button change is confusing to say the
least. I get easily annoyed by apps that doesn't close when I hit the
"Close" button. I ahte to go to File->Quit, and what's even better,
aMule has no other way to quit than the close button.
So that's a "no" from me.

Fair enough. But we can agree that there should be the possibility to
choose the behavior, right?

Don't take me wrong, but KDE is not the only window manager (desktop
environment) existing around. As true as it is that most KDE apps
behave in that way, it is that most non-KDE apps do NOT behave that way
;)
It is helpless to have an option to minimize to tray, then another
option to minimize to tray when clicking on minimize and finally
another one to minimize to tray when clicking on close.
Anyone can write a Qt frontend for aMule which conforms all KDE's usual
behaviours, but while such frontend doesn't exist, I don't think current
GTK frontend should do ;)
