synaptic crash with no error even when start under gnome terminal.
cause : when i select (for installation) a package with some
dependencies not installed, it show the popup windows that
allow me to
install them. On closing, validation, or undoing the change in
this
windows synaptic crash.
The same goes for uninstalling packages which depend on another.

Exact same problem here, latest updates where gtk and 
libbonobo, which might have caused this problem.

Install of packages without dependenicy resolving work fine.

Yeah, this is a problem with gtk2.6 (entered testing two days ago) and
synaptic. Unstable synaptic fixes it and I'll push the unstable
version into sarge now and hope that the i18n status and stability of
it becomes as good as 0.53.4.

with aboves synaptic version in sarge since today,
i can't reproduce that bug, can you please confirm?

solve some other things too (icons in toolbar were hidden
