Hi,

it would be desireable to be able to check a config file for correct
syntax, returning a non-zero exit code on an incorrect config file.

Greetings
Marc

This is already partly implemented. Aide takes a --config-check
parameter. However, this doesn't work as advertised (doesn't detect
some errors which are flagged as such on aide --check), and it is not
documented in the man page.

Greetings
Marc

It is now documented. I added code to the wrapper to use --config check
before invoking the real thing, that'll help verifying whether
config-check will detect all errors that will influence the actual aide
run.
