The current maintainer of ksetisaver, Filippo Panessa <kalem@linux.it>,

instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Description: Seti screensaver for KDE
 The seti@home project offers two binaries: a command-line version and a
 graphical frontend (xsetiathome). KSetiSaver acts as a normal screensaver
 for KDE replacing seti@home frontend.
 When it is launched it starts monitoring a seti@home client. KSetiSaver
 is also able to launch setiathome. That means seti@home is only active,
 when the screensaver is.

Justification: Mail bounces, no reply on alternative address, rejected from
NM as unresponsive

Hi.

I currently inspect the Debian wnpp bug list and search for old ITAs
(Intent to Adopt) that are mistitled.

You have expressed in bug report #283932 [0] the intent to adopt
the package "ksetisaver". The last comment to this from you is dated from
28-12-2004, which is more than three months ago. Do you still intent to adopt
this package? If not, please retitle the bug, substituting "O:" for "ITA:".

Thanks for the note -- I completed the package and RFS'd on
debian.mentors three times {[1],[2],[3]), but didn't found much interest.

I plan to try again after the freeze has finished (at least twice more
before I give up the effort) -- if I decide to give up completely, I'll
certainly re-orphan the package.

Do you still intend to adopt ksetisaver? (This is just a ping, I'm
not interested in adopting it myself.)

Thanks,

Matej

Yeah, I do. I'd been debating how worthwhile it was to make a new upload just
to change the maintainer address -- and add to the load on the buildds --
since there weren't any substantive changes I actually want to make at the
moment. What's considered best practice on this?

However, I've found a substantive change worth making, so :-) I should be
adopting it as soon as I get that working.

    * Adopt package.  Closes: #283932.
    * Version dependency on debhelper.
    * Change README to admit that this is version 0.3.4. Sheesh.
