Subject: libphp-jpgraph: New upstream release
Date: Tue, 16 Nov 2004 15:09:43 -0000 (GMT)
Package: libphp-jpgraph
Version: 1.5.2-10
Severity: wishlist

Please can you move to a newer version of jpgraph? 1.17 is in beta2 on
the jpgraph website.

Our application when ported over to debian was failing with
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: setframebevel()

which must be defined in versions > 1.5.2

Many thanks
Andrew

[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Unfortunatly this version is not any more DFSG compliant,
"QPL for non commercial use" don't fit with debian policy.

You can patch jpgraph and create an empty function for setframebevel(),
this kind of action is usually solving the problem, with a degraded
rendering.

You can also ask upstream to re-add GPL license to the new code, with
few hope of success.

You can package a jpgraph-nonfree version, we would put in non-free
section. I'm not enclined to provide free effort/time for non-free
software.

You can fork jpgraph ;-)

Cheers :)
