Severity: normal
In both Windows 2000 and Syllable (via an image downloaded from
http://msa.section.me.uk/syllable/qemu/) the mouse does not work. I've
verified that the keyboard and mouse have been grabbed. My real mouse is a
USB mouse and works in X.

Message #10 received at 276276@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Hi,
I have this exact problem with nt4 (which now boots and
runs with 0.6.1).
Symptoms:
As long, as I don't let qemu grab the mouse, the cursor is
visible in the middle of the screen.
When I let qemu grab the mouse and move it a small little,
it ends up in the lower right corner (being invisible
mostly).
Interestingly enough, the right mouse button works.
Any hints welcome.

At least, that helped me.

Right, that fixes it for me as well.
Maybe this should somehow be pointed at more prominently...
Should I close this bug or keep it open as an reminder to add a pointert
to this FAQ somewhere?

I'm no longer in a position to test this, unfortunately, so you needn't
wait for me to test.

Let it open, so we can see, what we'll do next.
First step is probably to add a ref to that FAQ to
README.Debian.

That'd be ok for me if the original reporter agrees.

Curious if this works. ;)
This should make me this bug's reporter, if I understood the BTS
instructions correctly. ;)
Making me the bug's owner (instead of reporter) seems not correct to me
from the instructions as I'm not in a position to do anything about it,
being no member of the "Debian QEMU Team".
However I should be able to perform tests with qemu on AMD64 and i386 in
the forseeable future.
Greetings,
Gunter

There are two tricks:
a) send the mail to control@ (done in this mail via Bcc,
so replies don't annoy the control processor)
b) use the "submitter" command, see above.
Using "package" is just good style and helps avoid errors.
