Hi Christian!

The mysqlhotcopy.sh fix introduced in 4.0.20-11 is broken and does not
even compile (did anybody actually bother to test it?). 

I prepared a fix for that which you can get at

http://make.it.work.again.no-name-yet.com/patches/mysql-dfsg.fix-hotcopy.diff

I imported tempfile into the namespace and completely deleted the
unconditional die after the tempfile call. tempfile() automatically
dies if the directory cannot be written to.

You're right, I reported the bug to MySQL (see URL above) and will upload
a fixed Debian version.

Your way of signing changelog and the way your name is in
debian/control:Maintainer: differs.

IIRC the woody version simply copied that same patch, is the woody version
broken too?
