vgscan -- LVM driver/module not loaded?
dpkg: error processing lvm10 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 95
Errors were encountered while processing:
lvm10
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I think the postinst should succeed even if vgscan fails. Once you load
lvm-mod you'll run it yourself anyway, manually or by way of an init
script.
Thanks,

Trivial patch here:

It works for me, anyway.
Cheers,
