when I run the gnome-default-applications-properties, make my choices
and close the window, the configuration does not make any effects.
If i run the program again everything is unchanged.

Applications seem to ignore the default applications I selected in
gnome-default-applications-properties. Instead of using my default
choices (mozilla-firefox, xterm...) it uses the gnome default ones
(epiphany, gnome-terminal...).
