A much recent version is released on 2002.12.24, which is 1.20.1. It is
a year old now! 1.19.6 is more older. It would be *very good* if someone
take over gpm and package 1.20.1, preferably with patches from
http://www.geocities.com/dt_or/gpm/gpm.html as it adds support for
2.5/2.6 kernel changes for Synaptics touchpads (found in many laptops
brands).
