Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

The current maintainer of xitalk, Chris Reed <cr212@iname.com>,
is apparently not active anymore. Therefore, I orphan this package
now. If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- see
http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Description: Talk intercept utility for X
xitalk logs you in on a pseudo terminal. If you then disable messages in all
your xterms, xitalk will receive all talk requests/ writes. It can then
start a [y]talk session, play a sound, etc.

Justification: mail bounces

I intent to adopt xitalk and package version 1.2.0 as soon as I get some
spare time.

The current upstream version could be found at this URL:

[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
owner 194021 !
thanks

I packaged the actual version but it segfaults at least on x86. So this
gets delayed quite a bit, as for now I lack time to track it down.
