ORP fails to build from source on i386 due to a compiler error:

This is caused by missing #defines giving the size of some pthreads
structures in the platform header file.  It is likely that this has
some relation to the run time bug reported in #178732 - ORP appears to
be trying to peer inside libc internals so major changes in there would
seem a reasonable candidate for breaking it.
