Hello,

Mozilla no longer saves history pages or addresses in location bar. I 
have history references for yesturday (before I upgraded) but none for 
today, despite considerable surfing.

The bug slipped into mozilla/mozill-browser
from debian version 1.3-1 to 1.3-3.

No Historiy can be accessed in

* sidebar (F9) history tab
* URL-bar autocomplettion
* URL-bar drop down
* history window

the .mozilla/<profile>/<key>/history.txt
file seems to be written to though.

I tried a fresh profile, so it's not something related to old
versions of history.dat or localstore.rdf
Speaking about localstore.rdf, the <RDF:Seq about="nc:urlbar-history">
element doesnt get any new child either. So only the existing
childs (from previous mozilla version) are shown in that urlbar history.

The things that annoys me is that I dont remember if it
last worked in 1.2.1 or one of the first 1.3 package.

is being written to, but I can't see it in ctrl-H or autocompletion.

Hello,

Just to let you know, I managed to fix the problem. In order to do that 
it was necessary for me to completely purge the Mozilla install and to 
remove my profile. Still weird why it happened in the first place...

That workaround fixed it for me too! Purged and re-installed mozilla +
components.

I did *not* need to purge my .mozilla, though!

All works as normal now. Strange...
