In /usr/share/doc/sympa/html there are two files index.html and
index.png.  When Apache is the webserver and mod_negotiation is enabled
and the browser (Mozilla for example) requests image/png as a higher
priority than text/html the webserver will return index.png when the URL
http://localhost/doc/sympa/html/ is requested.  This is a slight
annoyance and I suggest index.png be renamed.

Do you know if this bug has been fixed upstream? I could not reproduce
this bug, because I did not find a package sympa-doc and there is
no /usr/share/doc/sympa/html directory in my Lenny installation.

Could you please give an update on this issue?

Hi Paul.

Thanks for spotting that no-longer existing issue.

Instead of asking for update to the initial reporter on such an old bug, I think it is safe to assume that it's no longer present, and instead ask for reopening should the problem still exist.

Hence, mentioning it fixed.
