Hello,
I guess that fdflush is equivalent to
floppycontrol -f
floppycontrol comes with the fdutils package.
Does anything still use fdflush? Otherwise we
could just remove the fdflush package.

IMHO, this program still is a good idea.
- It's smaller than floppycontrol and doesn't do the myriad other things
which floppycontrol does.
- It's useful for things which are not (broken) floppies.
For instance, if you change pc-card SDRAM disks while your laptop is
asleep, the kernel doesn't notice either...
