Hi,
I'd like to register my interest in adopting gvd.
As I'm not yet a debian developer, I'm assuming that I need to go through
that process before I can take the package on? I have a prospective
sponsor.
Thanks.

Hi,
You seem to be interested in gvd.
Do you know the Ada95 language? Since gvd was written is Ada95,
some Ada95 knowledge would be better.
Cheers,

I've not played with Ada95 before, however I'm quite happy to learn it in
order to maintain the package. Taking a brief look at some of the extracts
on the ada home page, it looks pretty simple to pick up, and indeed looks
quite interesting too.

If you have a prospective sponsor, you can just get started. You might
as well work on gvd in parallel with going through the new-maintainer
process, as having adopted packages already can often speed that process
up.

Hello,
A patch fixing a documentation problem in GVD has been
waiting in the BTS for a long time.
Could you please prepare a package since you decided to
take care of it.
Thanks.

I've prepared a package which fixes all four outstanding bugs (two appear
to be duplicates of the other two).
As I'm not yet a DM, I'm going to need to get my sponsor to check the
package over.
A copy of the new package is available here:
<http://www.darksilence.net/~mace/gvd_1.2.5-2_i386.deb>
Let me know if there's any problems with this.
Thanks.

Hi all,
I've modified the new package to take into account the suggestions
Jérôme made, and all the appropriate files are available at
<http://www.darksilence.net/gvd/> for review.
Edward Betts checked over the previous version of this package, and will
hopefully be uploading it soon, but if anyone here wants to give it a
final once over, it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Apologies, that should have been <http://www.darksilence.net/~mace/gvd/>.

The package looks fine to me.
