The current maintainer of wmweather, Darren Benham <gecko@debian.org>,
is apparently not active anymore[0]. Therefore, I orphan this package
now. If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- retitle

Some information about this package:
Package: wmweather
Priority: optional
Section: x11
Installed-Size: 67
Maintainer: Darren Benham <gecko@debian.org>
Architecture: i386
Version: 1.31-1.2
Depends: perl5, wget, libc6 (>= 2.2.3-1), xlibs (>> 4.0.3)
Recommends: xcontrib
Filename: pool/main/w/wmweather/wmweather_1.31-1.2_i386.deb
Size: 19780
MD5sum: 1f768887d9a62290fa4daf195365380f
Description: Window Maker Docking app that can show your current weather
Gets weather reports from the same source that pilots do. The weather
is displayed in a 64x64 "icon" that docks nicely into Window Maker's
docking bar.
.
xcontrib is required for the double-left-click to bring up the complete
METAR listing.
[0] Justification: His packages have gotten several NMUs (wmcpu by Adrian
Bunk and Branden Robinson, wmdate two times by Adrian and once by Branden,
wmgrabimage once by Adrian and Robinson, etc), he has clearly demonstrated
his non-maintainership of his packages.

Description:
wmweather - WindowMaker dock app that can show your current weather
Closes: 45296 47463 60599 61714 108775 135892
Changes:
wmweather (1.31-2) unstable; urgency=low
.
* Installed menu file using debconf (closes: #45296).
* Replaced use of wget by curl (closes: #47463, #60599).
Main reason is that wget downloads a nearly 250 KB FTP directory listing
in order to fetch the less than 400 bytes weather report thereafter, and
weather.noaa.gov isn't that fast. curl is smaller, faster and maybe also
more reliable in this situation.
* Fixed wmWeather.c (closes: #61714).
* Several small fixes in GrabWeather (closes: #108775).
* Updated depends/recommends/suggests.
* New maintainer (closes: #135892).
