Bug#102797.
(full text, mbox, link).
Hello,
Some time ago you filed this bug:
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.0.3-4
I have just installed debian on a Macintosh iBook (orange model, one
year old), but unfortunately I cannot make xfree start. I am using an
XF86Config file that reportedly works on this machines.
Below is the log (file /var/log/XFree86.0.log") obtained when I call
"startx". I tried to change the XF86Config file, but I could not get
manage to have any clue about what could be wrong.
Do you still experience this problem with XFree86 4.1.0?
If so, could you try adding the following lines to the "Device" section
of your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4:
Options "NoDDC"
Options "NoDDC1"
Options "NoDDC2"
(Different server modules have different options available.)
Please let me know if the above has any impact on the problem.
