The package is only compatible with D version 1. Please update
the package to build and work with D version 2, or explicitly
use D version 1.

To use D version 1, build-depend on gdc-v1, and use the
binaries gdc-v1 and gdmd-v1 to build the package.

For D version 2, use gdc-4.6 and gdmd-4.6; gdc and gdmd will
point to these binaries in the first week of January 2012.

When porting to D version 2, make sure to ask for removal
of packages which do not build without a libphobos2 library.
libphobos2 is currently only available for ix86 architectures.
