Dear Maintainer,

one of the Ubuntu users has analyzed a segfault reported in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1208091 which is linked to #734103.
Laurent concluded that there is a race condition in the net backend
for which he provided a patch in http://tinyurl.com/j5qjcqc. Please
have a look and include the patch if you feel it is appropriate.

Regards

Rolf

Hello Ralf,

thank you for spending your time helping to make Debian better with
this bug report.

Some comments about this bug:

 * The Ubuntu bug was for release 1.0.23-0ubuntu3. This release is not
   longer supported.
 * The Ubuntu bug was linked to the Debian bug 734103[1]. This bug was
   fixed with the release 1.0.24-3.
 * In [2] it was confirmed that the bug does not occur in Ubuntu
   anymore.

So I close this bug.

But I still have a note: patches please attach and do not have links
from unrecognizable sources.

CU
Jörg
