Subject: insserv: Sort order should not depend on locale

Package: insserv
Version: 1.12.0-11
Severity: minor

I did some testing with locale set to en_US.UTF-8, and later with the
locale set to C, and discovered that the resulting script order
generated by insserv changed.

Example change:

 K01splashy

I believe the behaviour of insserv should not depend on the current
locale.

On second thought, this is bullshit. The case here is the order
reported by ls, not the order created by insserv. I had a look in the
source, and failed to find any setlocale() calls, and then started to
think what could cause it.
