Subject: gnome-panel: Wrong weather data for Berlin
Date: Sat, 18 Apr 2009 22:52:47 +0200
Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.24.3-1
Severity: minor

The clock applet shows wrong weather data for Berlin. It shows
always 4°C, which was the temperature at 2008-10-30 (see
http://weather.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/mgetmetar.pl?cccc=EDDI). At this
date the airport Berlin-Tempelhof closed, so this is probably the
reason why the METAR data is not updated anymore.

It's probably best to remove Berlin-Tempelhof (EDDI) from the
weather station lists, both in the weather and in the clock
applets.

Regards,
     Slaven

        * data/city-fixups.pl: Remove a duplicate copy of Warsaw. #563496.

        * data/station-fixups.pl: Strip out the automated Canadian
stations that (badly) duplicate non-automated stations. Among
        other things, fixes Edmonton, #573936.

        * data/Locations.xml.in: Regen for the preceding changes, and
using a new observations file containing the intersection of the
2.24 locations and the currently-reporting locations. Among other
things, this gets rid of the now-defunct Berlin Templehof station,
fixing the weather in Berlin. #567607.
