Subject: aircrack-ng: airmon-ng script completly fails with /bin/sh as dash
Date: Tue, 03 Oct 2006 00:02:00 +1000
Package: aircrack-ng
Version: 0.6.1-2
Severity: important

The /usr/sbin/airmon-ng script completly breaks if /bin/sh is dash. In fact, the entire script is full of bashisms.

The solution is to either use /bin/bash, or I can provide a (243 line) patch to fix all of the bashisms.

Hello Steve,

New upstream version will be uploaded and I switched to /bin/bash.

Feel free to provide a 'sh compliant' patch if you have time, I'll make a new
upload for it.

Thanks in advance.
